Journey beyond where the city give way to mountains, tea fields, and the stunning, emerald-green Kushida River. Hop into a canoe from the nature tour non-profit I-sierra and paddle down the crystal clear water, count the pebbles on the riverbed, skip rocks by the riverside, and splash in the cool waters. Bring your family, friends, and even your most adventurous pets!
I-sierra provides two different canoeing experiences: one where you can paddle around a calm section of the river and one where you can travel downstream. Pick your favorite way to play and get out there on a hot summer’s day!

Important Notes
- Ages 3 to 75 only.
- All tours are for private groups of two to five people.
- Paddles, canoes, life jackets, water shoes, helmets, and insurance is included.
- Dogs are allowed at ￥3,000 per dog. Please include the dog's breed and weight when reserving. Dog life jackets are available. Dogs are not covered by the included insurance.
- Payment is accepted in cash or PayPay.
Tours and Fees
All tours meet either in the morning or the afternoon.
Morning group: 9:30 - 11:30 (Check-in at 9:00)
Afternoon group: 13:00 - 15:00 (Check-in at 12:30)
All fees are per person.

Paddle around a calm section of the river.

*Check-in is near the Iitaka Roadside Station EV charging area (Google Maps). After check-in, participants will drive to the river area in their personal vehicles.
Downriver Adventure
Cruise gently downstream in a canoe for around 2 km.
Ages 13-75:￥10,000+
Ages 6-12: ￥8,500+
Ages 3-5: ￥5,000+ (no paddles)
